Commissioners School Announced

A general commissioners school will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at 5:00 p.m. at the Jackson Parish Community Center. This course will be for those who have not already been certified to work at the voting polls on election day. For more information, click the article headline.

By proclamation, the Governor has announced that a special primary election will be held on October 17, 2009, for the office of Associate Justice for the 4th Supreme Court District. General election will be held on November 14, 2009.

Special Election Called for School Board, District 7

A special election has been called to fill the vacancy of School Board Member for District 7. The primary election will be held on October 17, 2009, with the general election being held November 14, 2009. Qualifying will be held at the Clerk of Court office August 12-14, 2009.
